San Diego Zoo

With its immense diversity of species, the San Diego Zoo is one of the few zoos in the world with panda bears.

Embarcadero and USS Midway

A tour of the Embarcadero (Harbor Drive) shows the beauty of San Diego. This is the departure point for ferries to Coronado Island and cruises around San Diego Bay. About one hundred meters away, another attraction worth a visit is the Aircraft Carrier Museum, named after the USS Midway, the first large ship to cross the Panama Canal.

Legoland

Mission Bay Park

The park offers several water sports options and facilities for biking, playing, and racing. It has boat rental services, bike rental services, and even picnic tables. This is where Sea World is located, an aquatic park with attractions for all ages. Among the park’s attractions are dolphins, the white whale, the polar bear, sea lions, and penguins.

Omni La Costa Resort & Spa

Hotel Del Coronado

The two swimming pools, kids camp, and babysitting services make the Hotel Del Coronado one of the most family-friendly. It is also one of the largest and best-known resorts in Southern California, with 790 rooms with:

  • upscale stores
  • and 13 restaurants and bars.

Paradise Point Resort & Spa

Paradise Point sits on a private island surrounded by a mile-long beach, and the lovely gardens feature colorful plants and flowers, torches, fire pits, and ponds where kids can feed the ducks. 

The location next to SeaWorld makes the resort a child magnet. The 462-room property also has five pools, a spa, and large rooms with a sofa bed and dining table in a separate living room.
